For Your Safety
We are happy to have you, your friends and your family as our guests at the 167th Airlift Wing. We will do everything to ensure that your Air Show experience is safe and enjoyable. Every effort will be made to minimize delays in entering and leaving the Air Show.
We ask for your cooperation in keeping potentially dangerous items safely outside the flight line gates. At the entry points to the air show flight line, ALL bags will be quickly inspected and all individuals are subject to search. To speed your entrance into the flight line area, large bags, backpacks, ice chests and coolers will not be permitted. It is recommended that spectators minimize the number and size of permitted items to reduce the inspection time prior to access into the flight line area.
Smoking - Smoking is not permitted near aircraft or in hangars
All authorized items will be inspected prior to entering the venue. It is recommended that spectators minimize the number and size of authorized items to reduce the time required for inspection prior to accessing the installation. The following items are permitted:
Small Coolers (Medical Purposes Only)
Portable Lawn Chairs
Cellular phones, pagers, cameras (you may be asked to turn off/on)
In order to keep possibly dangerous items from entering the venue, ALL bags will be inspected prior to entry and all individuals are subject to search. To keep delays to a minimum, remember that the following items are NOT permitted and may be confiscated:
All other Coolers (Hard or Soft, unless medically required)
Narcotics and Paraphernalia
Bikes, Segways, Roller Blades, Skates, and Skateboards
All Weapons (Including, but not limited to knives, firearms, explosives, bio/radiological substances) (Concealed weapon permits holders and off duty law enforcements personnel will not be permitted to bring their weapons onto the base).
Pets- except certified service animals
Signs of any kind
Please note unattended bags and packages will be removed from the premises. Neither strollers nor wheelchairs will be available for rent at the Air Show. Sun protection, including hat, long-sleeved shirts and long pants and sun screen are recommended. Water will be available throughout the Air Show area. Wear comfortable footgear; you may walk long distances.
